Job Description

Truist is actively looking for a dedicated and meticulous Public Treasury Vault Assistant to join our high-security operations in Raleigh, NC. This position is perfect for individuals with no prior experience, as we provide comprehensive, hands-on training to ensure your success. You will be an essential part of a team responsible for maintaining the integrity and security of valuable assets within our state-of-the-art vault facility, adhering to strict protocols and contributing to our commitment to excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist senior vault personnel in the secure receipt, storage, and dispatch of currency and other valuable assets.
  • Maintain precise and up-to-date records of all vault transactions and inventory movements.
  • Strictly adhere to all established security protocols, procedures, and regulatory guidelines.
  • Prepare and verify shipments of cash and other valuables for secure transport.
  • Operate various vault equipment, including currency counters, sorters, and other specialized machinery.
  • Actively collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and operational excellence.
  • Promptly identify and report any discrepancies, unusual activities, or potential security breaches.
  • Participate in regular inventory audits and reconciliation processes.
