Job Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Quality Assurance (QA) Intern to join our software testing team in Bridgend. This is an exceptional entry-level opportunity for individuals with little to no prior experience in QA or software testing. You will receive comprehensive training and mentorship, learning the fundamentals of software quality assurance, test methodologies, and tools. Your primary role will be to assist our experienced QA engineers in ensuring the quality and reliability of our cutting-edge software products. This internship is designed to kick-start your career in technology, providing hands-on experience in a supportive and dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Learn and apply basic QA methodologies and processes.
- Assist in the execution of test cases and document test results.
- Identify, document, and track software defects.
- Collaborate with developers and QA engineers to understand project requirements and resolve issues.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to testing strategy discussions.
- Support the creation and maintenance of test documentation.
- Perform basic exploratory testing to uncover potential issues.
- Assist with regression testing of new software releases.
Required Skills

- Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to problem-solving.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.

Preferred Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of software development concepts or the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Familiarity with any programming language (e.g., Python, Java) is a plus, but not required.
- Prior exposure to bug tracking systems or test management tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps) is beneficial, but not required.
