Job Description
Lumière Learning Solutions is seeking a talented and versatile Remote E-learning Voice Actor to record engaging and professional narration for a variety of training modules and educational content. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals with a clear, articulate voice and a passion for education to contribute to high-quality e-learning experiences from the comfort of their home studio. You will be responsible for bringing scripts to life, ensuring clarity, appropriate tone, and consistent delivery across diverse subject matters. This is a fully remote, contract position.
Key Responsibilities
- Record clear, professional, and engaging voiceovers for e-learning modules, tutorials, and corporate training videos.
- Interpret scripts to convey appropriate tone, pacing, and emphasis, ensuring accurate pronunciation.
- Perform self-direction and sound editing (noise reduction, equalization, normalization) for recorded audio files.
- Meet deadlines for script delivery and revisions, maintaining high standards of quality.
- Communicate effectively with project managers and content developers regarding script clarifications and project requirements.
- Maintain a professional home recording studio setup with high-quality equipment and a quiet environment.
Required Skills
- Excellent vocal delivery, clarity, and articulation in English.
- Ability to interpret scripts and convey various tones suitable for educational content.
- Basic audio editing skills (e.g., Audacity, Adobe Audition, Reaper) for cleaning and preparing audio files.
- Access to professional home recording equipment (microphone, audio interface, quiet space).
- Reliable internet connection and strong time management skills.
- Prior experience in voice acting, narration, podcasting, or public speaking.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with diverse e-learning platforms or content management systems.
- Ability to voice in multiple languages (e.g., French, Spanish) is a strong asset.
- Formal training in voice acting, broadcasting, or related fields.
