Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Resort Operations Manager to oversee and optimize the day-to-day functions of our bustling resort. This pivotal role requires a strong leader with a keen eye for detail, a passion for guest satisfaction, and a proven track record in hotel operations. The Resort Operations Manager will ensure seamless coordination between all departments, uphold Hyatt’s high standards of quality and service, and contribute to the overall profitability and success of the property. Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage daily resort operations, including front office, housekeeping, food & beverage, and guest services.
  • Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to ensure efficiency and guest satisfaction.
  • Monitor service quality and guest feedback, taking proactive measures to resolve issues and enhance the guest experience.
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate a diverse team of hotel professionals, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • Manage departmental budgets, control costs, and identify opportunities for revenue generation.
  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and security regulations.
  • Collaborate with other department heads to align operational goals with the resort's strategic objectives.
  • Prepare and present operational reports to senior management.
  • Handle guest complaints and special requests with professionalism and efficiency.
  • Participate in strategic planning and contribute to the resort's long-term growth and success.

Required Skills

  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in hotel or resort operations management.
  • Demonstrated leadership and team-building capabilities.
  • Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Proficiency in hotel management software (PMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication, both written and verbal.
  • Financial acumen and experience with budget management.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience with Hyatt brand standards and operating procedures.
  • Multilingual proficiency is a plus.
  • Certification in hospitality management or related fields.
