Job Description
Are you an energetic and reliable individual looking for a part-time role with regular day shifts? Target in Logan, UT, is hiring a Retail Stock Mover to join our dedicated team. In this entry-level position, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our sales floor is well-stocked and organized, helping us deliver an exceptional shopping experience for our guests. No prior experience is necessary; we provide comprehensive training!
Key Responsibilities
- Receive and unload merchandise deliveries efficiently and safely.
- Organize and store inventory in the stockroom according to company standards.
- Move merchandise from the stockroom to the sales floor, replenishing shelves and displays.
- Ensure products are accurately priced, faced, and presentable for guests.
- Assist with backroom organization, maintaining a clean and orderly work environment.
- Operate equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks safely (training provided).
- Support other team members with various tasks as needed to maintain store operations.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and move merchandise weighing up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Capacity to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
- Basic communication skills.
- Flexibility to work part-time day shifts as scheduled.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a retail, warehouse, or stockroom environment (a plus, but not required).
- High school diploma or equivalent.
