Job Description
Are you looking for an exciting opportunity to kickstart your career in a dynamic and fun environment? Typhoon Texas Waterpark is seeking enthusiastic and safety-minded individuals to join our team as Ride Attendants / Operators. This entry-level position requires no prior experience, as we provide comprehensive, full training to ensure you are fully equipped to excel in your role. As a vital part of our operations, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of our water attractions, ensuring all guests have a secure and enjoyable experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate various water park rides and attractions safely and efficiently, following all established procedures and guidelines.
- Greet guests warmly, provide clear instructions for ride entry, exit, and safety rules, and answer any questions.
- Monitor guest behavior and ensure compliance with all safety regulations, intervening when necessary.
- Perform routine pre-opening, during-operation, and post-closing inspections of rides and attraction areas.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of ride stations and surrounding areas.
- Respond calmly and effectively to emergency situations, alerting supervisors and assisting as trained.
- Communicate regularly with supervisors and other team members regarding ride status, guest feedback, and operational needs.
- Assist guests with boarding and disembarking rides, including those with special needs, with courtesy and professionalism.

- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions, including heat and humidity.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods, walk, bend, and lift up to 25 pounds.
- Must be at least 16 years of age.
Preferred Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED (or currently pursuing).
- Previous experience in a customer service or guest-facing role is a plus, but not required.
- CPR and First Aid certification is a benefit (training may be provided).
