Job Description
We are seeking a hardworking and physically fit Scaffolding Yard Hand to join our team in Mandurah. This is a manual role requiring a strong work ethic and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for the organisation, cleaning, and maintenance of scaffolding equipment within our yard, ensuring it is ready for dispatch or return to stock. Full training will be provided for candidates who demonstrate a positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and process incoming scaffolding equipment.
- Organise, stack, and store scaffolding components in designated areas.
- Clean and maintain scaffolding equipment, ensuring it is in good working order.
- Assist with loading and unloading trucks using safe manual handling techniques.
- Conduct basic quality checks on equipment to identify damaged items.
- Maintain a clean, tidy, and safe work environment in the yard.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
- Assist other team members as required.
Required Skills
- Physical fitness and ability to lift heavy objects repeatedly.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
- Commitment to workplace safety.
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a yard, warehouse, or manual labour role (advantageous but not essential).
- Current C-Class driver's license.
- Forklift license (LF) or willingness to obtain one.
