Job Description
We are actively seeking motivated and detail-oriented individuals to join our Red Deer distribution centre as a Scan & Pack Warehouse Clerk. This is a fast-paced role that requires efficiency, accuracy, and a strong work ethic. As part of our team, you will be responsible for accurately scanning and packing merchandise for shipment, contributing directly to our operational success and ensuring timely delivery of goods. Key Responsibilities
- Efficiently scan and verify product barcodes using handheld scanners.
- Accurately pick and pack items into designated containers or boxes according to established procedures.
- Inspect products for quality and damage, reporting any discrepancies.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as required to support team goals.
- Meet daily productivity targets for scanning and packing volume.
Required Skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic computer literacy for scanner operation.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution setting.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems.
- Experience using handheld scanners or similar equipment.
