Job Description
Join U-Haul International as a Self-Storage Facility Relief Manager, focusing on weekend operations at our Calgary location. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking for a consistent schedule with an emphasis on customer service and light retail. You’ll play a crucial role in ensuring our facility runs smoothly, assisting customers with their storage needs, and managing rental transactions. Key Responsibilities
- Manage weekend facility operations, including opening and closing procedures.
- Assist customers with self-storage unit rentals, explaining terms and conditions.
- Process sales of moving and packing supplies.
- Conduct facility walkthroughs to ensure cleanliness and security.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve minor issues promptly and courteously.
- Perform light administrative duties such as maintaining accurate records and handling cash/card transactions.
- Assist with basic property maintenance, including sweeping and tidying.
- Ensure a welcoming and professional environment for all customers.
Required Skills
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Basic computer proficiency for point-of-sale and administrative tasks.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Reliability and punctuality for weekend shifts.
- Attention to detail in handling transactions and paperwork.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs occasionally.
