Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Brand Manager to join our marketing team in Laval, Quebec. This pivotal role is responsible for the strategic development and execution of brand plans for key product categories within our Canadian portfolio. The Senior Brand Manager will drive market share, revenue growth, and brand equity by leveraging deep consumer insights, leading cross-functional teams, and managing comprehensive marketing initiatives. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, analytical prowess, and creative leadership to ensure our brands resonate with consumers and achieve business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement robust annual brand marketing plans and strategies to meet and exceed business objectives, including P&L management.
  • Conduct in-depth market research, consumer segmentation, and competitive analysis to identify growth opportunities and inform strategic decisions.
  • Lead the new product development process from concept to launch, collaborating closely with R&D, sales, operations, and external agencies.
  • Manage brand budgets, forecasting, and reporting, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and maximizing ROI.
  • Develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns across various channels (digital, in-store, traditional media) to enhance brand visibility and engagement.
  • Work collaboratively with sales teams to develop promotional strategies and support materials that drive retail execution and sales volumes.
  • Monitor brand performance using key metrics and provide actionable insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Mentor and guide junior brand team members, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
  • Ensure all brand activities comply with industry regulations and company guidelines.

Required Skills

  • Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in brand management, preferably within the consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry.
  • Proven track record of successfully launching new products and growing existing brands.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret market data, financial reports, and consumer insights.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with fluency in both English and French (written and spoken).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and market research tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects concurrently.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Marketing, Business Administration (MBA), or a related field.
  • Experience in the food & beverage or dairy industry.
  • Prior experience managing brands with significant market share and national distribution.
  • Familiarity with the Quebec retail landscape and consumer preferences.
