Job Description
Are you looking to kickstart your career in hospitality but have no prior experience? Toby Carvery in Pontypridd is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our team as Server / Wait Staff. We believe in potential, not just experience. If you’re a people person with a can-do attitude and a desire to learn, we want to hear from you! We provide comprehensive, hands-on training to ensure you gain all the skills needed to excel in this role. You’ll be an essential part of creating memorable dining experiences for our guests, from taking orders to serving our famous carvery.
Key Responsibilities
- Warmly greet guests and seat them promptly.
- Present menus, explain daily specials, and answer questions about food and beverages.
- Accurately take food and drink orders and input them into our POS system.
- Serve food and beverages efficiently and courteously to tables.
- Ensure guest satisfaction throughout their meal.
- Handle payment transactions accurately and process bills.
- Clear and reset tables according to restaurant standards.
- Assist with opening and closing duties as required.
- Maintain a clean and tidy dining area.
Required Skills

- No prior experience required – full training will be provided!
