Job Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic and reliable Part-time Shipping Assistant to join our Bairnsdale team immediately. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start work right away and contribute to a fast-paced logistics environment. As a Shipping Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient processing and dispatch of parcels and mail. Full training will be provided, so no prior experience is necessary. We value a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the receiving, sorting, and scanning of incoming and outgoing mail and parcels.
- Prepare items for shipment, including packaging, labeling, and documentation.
- Load and unload delivery vehicles safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Assist with inventory checks and stock replenishment as required.
- Operate basic warehouse equipment (e.g., pallet jacks) after receiving appropriate training.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth daily operations and meet dispatch deadlines.
