Job Description
We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable individuals to join our team as a Silo Operator Assistant for regional seasonal work in Palmerston North. This role is crucial to our operations during peak seasons, ensuring the smooth handling and storage of our valuable products. Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the loading and unloading of bulk materials into and from silos.
- Monitor silo levels and report any discrepancies or issues.
- Perform basic operation of equipment related to silo management under supervision.
- Conduct routine cleaning and general maintenance of the silo area to ensure a safe and tidy work environment.
- Strictly adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Complete necessary paperwork and record-keeping accurately.
- Collaborate effectively with the silo operating team and other site personnel.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards promptly.
