Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Social Media Management Intern to join our dynamic marketing team. This is a unique opportunity for someone passionate about digital communication and eager to gain hands-on experience in social media strategy and execution within a fast-paced, innovative environment. As a 100% remote intern, you will contribute to managing HubSpot’s social presence, engaging with our community, and supporting various marketing initiatives. This role is designed to provide comprehensive learning and mentorship, making it ideal for individuals with little to no prior professional experience in social media.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the creation and scheduling of engaging content for various social media platforms (e.g., LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok).
  • Monitor social media channels for trends, mentions, and competitor activity.
  • Engage with our online community by responding to comments and messages in a timely and professional manner.
  • Support the development of social media campaigns and content calendars.
  • Help track and analyze social media performance metrics, contributing to reports on reach, engagement, and other key indicators.
  • Research industry-specific topics and trending content to inform our social media strategy.
  • Collaborate with the broader marketing team to ensure brand consistency across all digital touchpoints.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions for new content ideas and campaign strategies.

Required Skills

  • Strong passion for social media and digital marketing.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Basic understanding of major social media platforms and their functionalities.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Buffer) is a plus but not required.
  • Basic knowledge of graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) for simple content creation.
  • Prior experience managing personal social media accounts or contributing to online communities.
