Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Spa Director / Manager to lead our exquisite spa and wellness operations. This pivotal role involves overseeing all aspects of the spa, from strategic planning and financial management to team leadership and guest satisfaction. The ideal candidate will be a visionary leader with a passion for wellness, an exceptional eye for detail, and a proven track record in luxury spa management. You will be responsible for creating an environment of tranquility and rejuvenation, ensuring an unforgettable experience for every guest. Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all daily operations of the spa and wellness facility, ensuring a seamless and luxurious guest experience.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance spa services, treatment offerings, and retail products.
- Manage financial performance, including budget development, revenue generation, cost control, and profitability targets.
- Recruit, train, mentor, and evaluate a high-performing team of spa professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and safety within the spa environment.
- Monitor guest feedback and implement corrective actions to ensure maximum satisfaction.
- Collaborate with other hotel departments to create integrated wellness experiences and promotions.
- Manage inventory, procurement, and vendor relationships for spa products and supplies.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations, including health and safety standards.
- Lead marketing and promotional efforts to increase spa visibility and patronage.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 3 years of progressive leadership experience in spa management, preferably in a luxury hotel or resort setting.
- Demonstrated expertise in spa operations, financial management, and staff supervision.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to drive revenue and manage expenses effectively.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
- Proven ability to motivate and develop a diverse team.
- In-depth knowledge of spa treatments, wellness trends, and product lines.
- Proficiency in spa software systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Advanced certifications in spa management, esthetics, massage therapy, or a related wellness discipline.
- Experience with international guest relations and diverse cultural backgrounds.
- Multilingual abilities are a plus.
