Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Spa Director / Manager to lead our esteemed spa and wellness center. This pivotal role involves overseeing all aspects of spa operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, driving revenue growth, and fostering a positive and productive work environment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in spa management, a passion for wellness, and excellent leadership skills. Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily spa operations, including scheduling, inventory, and facility maintenance.
- Develop and implement innovative spa services, treatments, and retail offerings.
- Recruit, train, motivate, and manage a team of spa professionals (therapists, estheticians, front desk staff).
- Monitor and achieve financial targets, including revenue, profit margins, and cost control.
- Ensure the highest standards of guest satisfaction and service quality.
- Develop and execute marketing strategies to promote spa services and attract new clientele.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment in compliance with all health and safety regulations.
- Handle guest inquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally and efficiently.
- Stay updated on industry trends and competitive landscape to ensure the spa remains cutting-edge.
- Prepare comprehensive reports on spa performance for senior management.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in spa management or a similar leadership role within the hospitality industry.
- Strong financial acumen and experience with budgeting, forecasting, and P&L management.
- Exceptional leadership, team-building, and interpersonal skills.
- Customer-service oriented with a focus on delivering luxury experiences.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Proficiency in spa software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Certification in massage therapy, esthetics, or a related wellness discipline.
- Fluency in French and English.
- Experience with international staff recruitment and sponsorship processes.
