This is a commission-driven sales role where your expertise will directly contribute to your earning potential. We’re looking for individuals who can provide exceptional customer service, offer expert product advice, and drive sales of our wide range of vitamins, supplements, and sports nutrition products. As a Sports Nutrition Store Advisor, you will be the face of GNC, engaging with customers to understand their needs and guide them toward the best products for their health and fitness journey. This position requires a proactive sales approach, a commitment to continuous learning about our products, and a passion for helping people live healthier lives.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and engage customers in a friendly and professional manner, providing outstanding customer service.
- Assess customer needs and provide expert, personalized recommendations on sports nutrition products, vitamins, and supplements.
- Achieve individual and store sales targets, maximizing commission opportunities.
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using our POS system.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing store environment, including merchandising and restocking.
- Stay up-to-date with product knowledge, industry trends, and competitor offerings through continuous learning and training.
- Assist with inventory management, including receiving shipments and conducting stock counts.
Required Skills
- Proven ability in customer service and sales, with a track record of achieving goals.
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of sports nutrition, vitamins, and dietary supplements.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to helping customers.
- Ability to work a flexible retail schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- A genuine passion for health, wellness, and fitness.
Preferred Qualifications
- At least 6 months of experience in retail sales, preferably within the health, fitness, or nutrition industry.
- Certification in personal training, nutrition, or a related field.
- Previous experience working with a commission-based compensation structure.
