Job Description
Are you eager to kickstart your career in retail operations? Target in Santa Rosa is looking for enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our team as Stock Assistants. This is an immediate start position, and absolutely no prior experience is required! We believe in nurturing talent and providing comprehensive training to help you succeed. As a Stock Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our store shelves are well-stocked, organized, and ready for our guests. You’ll work behind the scenes and on the sales floor, contributing to a smooth and efficient shopping experience. Key Responsibilities
- Receive, unload, and process incoming merchandise efficiently and accurately.
- Organize and store products in the stockroom according to company standards.
- Replenish sales floor shelves and displays from the stockroom as needed.
- Ensure all products are correctly priced and clearly labeled.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock audits.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe stockroom and sales floor.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals.
- Follow all safety guidelines and company policies.
- Provide support to other departments as needed.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and move merchandise weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks and procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks.
Preferred Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent (not strictly required for entry-level, but a plus).
- Familiarity with basic inventory concepts.
