Job Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic and highly motivated Student Science Intern to join our laboratory analysis team in Gungahlin. This internship offers a unique opportunity for current science students to gain practical, hands-on experience in a real-world scientific research environment. The successful candidate will work alongside experienced scientists and technicians, assisting with various laboratory procedures, data collection, and analysis. This is an entry-level position where comprehensive training will be provided, focusing on developing foundational laboratory skills and understanding analytical techniques. You will contribute to meaningful research while building valuable professional networks and insights into a career in scientific research.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior scientists and technicians with routine laboratory tasks and experiments.
- Learn and apply basic laboratory techniques, including sample preparation, solution making, and instrument operation.
- Accurately record and manage experimental data, ensuring meticulous documentation.
- Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure a clean, organized, and safe working environment.

Required Skills
