Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and highly motivated Student Science Intern to join our laboratory analysis team in Gungahlin. This internship offers a unique opportunity for current science students to gain practical, hands-on experience in a real-world scientific research environment. The successful candidate will work alongside experienced scientists and technicians, assisting with various laboratory procedures, data collection, and analysis. This is an entry-level position where comprehensive training will be provided, focusing on developing foundational laboratory skills and understanding analytical techniques. Key Responsibilities

  • Assist senior scientists and technicians with routine laboratory tasks and experiments.
  • Learn and apply basic laboratory techniques, including sample preparation, solution making, and instrument operation.

  • Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure a clean, organized, and safe working environment.

Required Skills

  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate science degree (e.g., Biology, Chemistry, Environmental Science, Biomedical Science).
