Job Description
Join United Supermarkets as a Home Delivery Driver! We’re seeking enthusiastic and reliable individuals to deliver groceries directly to our customers’ homes in Lubbock, TX. This role offers flexible hours, a company van, and the opportunity to be a crucial part of our customer service experience. No prior home delivery experience is necessary, as comprehensive training will be provided to ensure your success.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver grocery orders to customer homes.
- Navigate delivery routes using provided tools and technology.
- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, ensuring a positive experience.
- Handle grocery items with care, ensuring accurate and undamaged deliveries.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety guidelines.
- Process payments or confirm order details at delivery points as required.
Required Skills
- Valid Texas driver's license
- Clean driving record
- Ability to lift and carry groceries (up to 50 lbs)
- Strong customer service skills
- Reliable and punctual
- Ability to work independently
- Basic navigation skills (e.g., using GPS)
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a customer-facing role
- Familiarity with the Lubbock area
- High school diploma or GED
