Job Description
Are you passionate about food and love interacting with people? Albertsons Companies is looking for an enthusiastic and friendly Supermarket Taste Tester / Sampler to join our team in Boise, ID. In this exciting part-time role, you’ll be the face of our latest and greatest products, offering samples to customers and gathering valuable feedback. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals with a vibrant personality who enjoy sharing their love for food. Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and present food samples to customers in a safe and appealing manner.
- Actively engage with customers, explaining product features and benefits.
- Answer customer questions about sampled products and provide basic information.
- Gather customer feedback on sampled products and report observations to management.
- Maintain a clean and organized sampling station.
- Adhere to all food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Monitor sample inventory and request replenishment as needed.
- Promote a positive and friendly shopping experience.
Required Skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Friendly, approachable, and outgoing personality.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 20 lbs.
- Reliable and punctual.
- Basic understanding of food safety principles (training provided).
- Enthusiasm for food and new products.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in customer service or a public-facing role.
- Current food handler's permit (or willingness to obtain one upon hiring).
