Job Description
Join the legendary Rip Curl team as a Casual Surf Shop Assistant in our vibrant Townsville store! This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to immerse themselves in the surf lifestyle while gaining valuable retail experience. We are looking for someone reliable, friendly, and eager to learn, with full training provided on our products and sales processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service, assisting customers with product inquiries and purchases.
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using our point-of-sale system.
- Maintain an organised, clean, and visually appealing store environment.
- Assist with stock management, including receiving, pricing, and merchandising new products.
- Contribute to a positive and energetic team atmosphere.
- Learn about Rip Curl products, including wetsuits, surfboards, apparel, and accessories, to provide expert advice.
Required Skills
- A genuine interest in surf, beach, and outdoor culture.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A positive attitude and a proactive approach to work.
- Reliability and flexibility to work casual hours, including weekends and public holidays.
