Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and friendly Tanning Salon Consultant to join our team. This role is perfect for an enthusiastic individual who enjoys customer interaction, has a keen eye for cleanliness, and is eager to learn about tanning services and products. You will be responsible for providing exceptional client service, performing sales, maintaining salon cleanliness, and ensuring a positive experience for every visitor. Full training will be provided for all aspects of the role, making this an excellent entry-level opportunity.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet clients warmly and provide detailed information about tanning services, packages, and products.
- Assist clients in selecting appropriate tanning options based on their skin type and preferences.
- Process transactions accurately using our point-of-sale system.
- Maintain immaculate cleanliness of tanning rooms, common areas, and equipment throughout the day.
- Perform opening and closing duties, including cash handling and salon setup/teardown.
- Educate clients on safe tanning practices and product benefits.
- Upsell and cross-sell tanning lotions, skincare products, and memberships.
- Handle client inquiries and resolve minor issues professionally.
- Ensure all health and safety protocols are followed diligently.
Required Skills
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail, particularly regarding cleanliness.
- Reliable and punctual.
- Basic computer proficiency for POS system operation.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a customer service or retail environment (an asset but not required).
- Knowledge of tanning services or skincare products (training provided).
- High school diploma or equivalent.
