Job Description
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Tax Prep Assistant to join our team for the upcoming tax season. This is a high-volume, seasonal position focused on data entry and administrative support, playing a critical role in ensuring accurate and timely tax preparation for our clients. You will be responsible for managing client documentation, accurately entering data into our systems, and providing essential support to our tax preparers. Full training will be provided, making this an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to gain experience in the tax industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately input client tax information and financial data into proprietary tax software.
- Organize and maintain client files, ensuring all required documents are present and accounted for.
- Assist tax preparers with various administrative tasks as needed, including scanning, copying, and filing.
- Communicate effectively with tax preparers and other team members regarding client file status.
- Ensure strict confidentiality of all client information.
- Support the overall office operations to maintain an efficient and professional environment during peak season.
