Job Description

We are seeking a talented and motivated Telecommunications Network Engineer to join our dynamic team in Guildford. In this role, you will be instrumental in the design, implementation, and maintenance of our robust telecommunications infrastructure. Key Responsibilities

  • Design, configure, and implement network solutions for various telecommunications projects.

  • Document network configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
  • Participate in on-call rotation for critical network incident response.

Required Skills

  • Solid understanding of TCP/IP, OSI model, and networking protocols (e.g., OSPF, BGP, MPLS).
  • Experience with Cisco, Juniper, or Huawei networking equipment.
  • Knowledge of network security principles and practices (firewalls, VPNs).
  • Familiarity with network diagnostic tools and monitoring systems.
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot complex network issues.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science, or a related engineering field.
  • Industry certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, JNCIS, or equivalent.
  • Experience with SDN/NFV technologies.
  • Familiarity with cloud networking platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Scripting skills (Python, Bash) for network automation.
