Job Description

Deloitte Canada is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Telehealth Public Health Advisor to join our dynamic team on a crucial government contract. This is a 100% remote position, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere in Canada while making a significant impact on public health initiatives. As a Telehealth Public Health Advisor, you will play a pivotal role in advising government clients on the strategic development, implementation, and optimization of telehealth programs and public health strategies. You will leverage your expertise in public health, digital health, and policy to contribute to projects that enhance healthcare accessibility, efficiency, and equity across diverse populations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert advice and recommendations to government stakeholders on telehealth policy, program design, and operational best practices.
  • Conduct research and analysis on emerging trends, technologies, and regulatory landscapes in telehealth and public health.
  • Develop comprehensive reports, presentations, and policy briefs to inform decision-making processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate telehealth solutions into broader public health initiatives.
  • Assess existing telehealth programs for effectiveness, identify areas for improvement, and recommend data-driven enhancements.
  • Facilitate workshops and training sessions for government staff on telehealth applications and public health advisories.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant health privacy regulations and ethical guidelines in all telehealth endeavors.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Health Informatics, Healthcare Administration, or a related field
  • At least 3 years of progressive experience in public health, telehealth, or a related advisory capacity, preferably with government clients
  • Demonstrated understanding of telehealth technologies, platforms, and their application in public health settings
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate findings into actionable recommendations
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for presenting to diverse audiences and drafting professional documents
  • Proficiency in project management principles and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a remote environment
  • Familiarity with Canadian healthcare systems and public health frameworks

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Public Health (MPH), Health Informatics, or a related discipline
  • Previous experience working on government contracts or within a government health agency
  • Certifications in digital health, project management (e.g., PMP), or specific public health areas
  • Experience with change management and stakeholder engagement in healthcare settings
