Job Description

Tim Hortons in Rouyn-Noranda is seeking enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join our team as Trainee Baristas / Coffee Shop Assistants. No prior experience is required – we believe in nurturing talent and will provide comprehensive, hands-on training to help you master the art of coffee making and customer service. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone eager to learn, grow, and become an integral part of our friendly coffee shop environment, working primarily during daytime hours.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and take orders accurately
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and other menu items following Tim Hortons standards
- Operate point-of-sale systems and handle cash and card transactions
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar, dining area, and restrooms
- Restock supplies and ingredients as needed
- Ensure compliance with all food safety and hygiene regulations
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and a positive customer experience
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues professionally
Required Skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new procedures
- Reliability and punctuality
- Basic math skills for cash handling
Preferred Qualifications
