Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to Child Protection Workers, including scheduling appointments, managing correspondence, and organizing case files.
  • Assist with data entry and maintaining accurate, confidential client records in various systems.
  • Support the preparation of court documents and other essential paperwork under supervision.
  • Liaise with internal departments and external agencies as directed.
  • Answer and direct phone calls, taking messages and providing information where appropriate.
  • Maintain a respectful and professional demeanor when interacting with clients, colleagues, and the public.
  • Participate in team meetings and training sessions to continuously develop knowledge and skills.
  • Assist with other duties as assigned to support the overall operations of the child protection unit.

Required Skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and exercise discretion.

Preferred Qualifications
