Key Responsibilities

• Learn to operate, monitor, and adjust various production machinery and equipment safely and efficiently under the guidance of experienced operators.
• Perform routine quality checks on products and materials to ensure they meet Saputo's stringent standards.
• Adhere strictly to all company safety policies, procedures, and health regulations.
• Assist with machine setups, changeovers, and basic troubleshooting tasks as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, including performing regular sanitation duties.
• Report any equipment malfunctions, safety concerns, or production issues to supervisors promptly.
• Collaborate effectively with team members and other departments to ensure smooth production flow and achieve daily targets.
• Document production activities and complete necessary paperwork accurately.

Required Skills

• No prior experience in manufacturing or machine operation is required; full training will be provided.
• Strong willingness and ability to learn new tasks and procedures quickly.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately and consistently.
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
• Basic communication skills (verbal) in English or French.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 25 lbs, and perform repetitive movements in a fast-paced factory environment.
• Reliability and punctuality are essential.

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Basic mechanical aptitude or an interest in how machinery operates.
• A proactive attitude towards safety and continuous improvement.
