Job Description

St Andrew’s Healthcare is seeking enthusiastic Trainee Mental Health Support Workers to join our team in Milton Keynes. No previous experience in mental health is required – we provide comprehensive, fully paid training to equip you with all the skills and knowledge needed to excel in this rewarding role. Key Responsibilities

  • Provide person-centred support to service users, assisting them with daily living activities and promoting independence.
  • Monitor and observe service users' well-being, reporting any changes or concerns to senior staff.
  • Engage service users in therapeutic activities, social interactions, and community outings as appropriate.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records of service user progress and interactions.
  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the highest standards of care.
  • Assist with the implementation of care plans, contributing to service user recovery and development.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of service users within a secure and supportive environment.
