Key Responsibilities

  • Participate actively in an intensive training program covering tariff classification principles, customs regulations, and trade agreements.
  • Assist senior classifiers in researching and interpreting complex trade regulations and tariff schedules.
  • Learn to accurately classify goods based on their characteristics, use, and composition using the Harmonized System (HS) code.
  • Support the preparation of documentation required for import/export compliance.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure data accuracy and compliance with all relevant government commerce guidelines.
  • Stay updated on changes in trade legislation and tariff codes through continuous learning.
