Job Description
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Triage / Telehealth Nurse to join our growing team in Kazan. This is a unique opportunity for qualified international candidates, as visa sponsorship is available. In this hybrid role, you will be responsible for providing remote medical assessment, advice, and coordination of care to patients via telephone and digital platforms. You will utilize your clinical expertise to prioritize patient needs, guide them through appropriate care pathways, and ensure timely interventions. This position plays a critical role in enhancing patient access to care, reducing unnecessary emergency room visits, and supporting overall patient well-being.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive telephonic and digital patient assessments to determine urgency of care and appropriate level of intervention.
- Provide evidence-based medical advice and health education to patients, empowering them to manage their health conditions.
- Triage patient symptoms and direct them to the most suitable care setting, including scheduling appointments, recommending self-care, or advising emergency services.
- Document all patient interactions accurately and thoroughly in the electronic health record (EHR) system.
- Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
- Monitor and follow up on patient cases as needed to ensure continuity of care and positive outcomes.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to maintain current nursing licensure and enhance telehealth competencies.
- Adhere to all Medsi Group policies, procedures, and ethical guidelines, ensuring patient confidentiality and safety.
Required Skills
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in country of origin, eligible for registration in Russia.
- Minimum 2 years of clinical nursing experience, preferably in an acute care, emergency, or primary care setting.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and ability to learn basic Russian medical terminology.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and telehealth platforms.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Cultural sensitivity and ability to communicate effectively with diverse patient populations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree.
- Experience in telehealth or telephone triage.
- Proficiency in Russian language.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
