Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Tunnel Operations Support professional with a focus on Traffic Management to join our team in Werribee. In this vital role, you will be responsible for supporting the safe and efficient operation of our tunnel network, contributing to traffic flow management, incident response, and ensuring the highest standards of operational safety. This is a hands-on position requiring strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining a secure and effective transport system.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor tunnel systems and traffic flow to ensure optimal performance and identify potential issues.
- Assist in the implementation of traffic management plans and incident response protocols.
- Operate and maintain various operational equipment and systems within the tunnel environment.
- Conduct regular inspections and safety checks of tunnel infrastructure and equipment.
- Communicate effectively with control room personnel, emergency services, and other stakeholders during incidents.
- Document operational activities, incidents, and maintenance tasks accurately.
- Participate in training and development programs to enhance operational knowledge and skills.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and operational procedures at all times.
