Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and meticulous Cosmetics Sorter to join our distribution team in Warrnambool. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for the accurate sorting, categorizing, and preparation of cosmetic products for distribution to our pharmacies. This position operates in a clean, organized, and temperature-controlled environment during day shifts, providing a stable and supportive workplace. Full training will be provided, making this an excellent opportunity for individuals with a keen eye for detail and a strong work ethic to start or grow their career in logistics and retail operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately sort, inspect, and categorize a wide range of cosmetic products.
- Ensure all products are handled with care to maintain quality and integrity.
- Prepare sorted products for dispatch, including packing and labeling according to company standards.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation as required.
- Report any discrepancies or damaged items to supervisors promptly.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures regarding product handling and workplace safety.
Required Skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Physical capability to stand, walk, and lift moderate weights (up to 10kg) for extended periods.
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills to read labels and count stock.
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse, retail, or inventory management role.
- Familiarity with cosmetic products or the beauty industry.
- Experience with inventory management systems (though training will be provided).
- A valid forklift license (desirable but not essential).
