Job Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic and highly motivated Unpaid Intern to join our dynamic events team as an Event Planning Assistant. This entry-level internship provides a unique opportunity for individuals passionate about events to gain hands-on experience in a vibrant community club setting. You will work closely with our experienced events coordinators, learning the ropes of event planning, coordination, and execution from the ground up. This role is perfect for someone looking to kickstart their career in event management, hospitality, or marketing, offering practical skills development and networking opportunities without prior experience required. Full training and mentorship will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist event coordinators with various administrative tasks, including data entry, filing, and scheduling.
- Support the planning and execution of club events, conferences, and private functions.
- Research potential vendors, suppliers, and entertainment options.
- Help prepare event materials, such as signage, name tags, and promotional flyers.
- Attend and support on-site event setup, registration, and breakdown.
- Assist with post-event evaluations and feedback collection.
- Maintain organized event files and databases.
- Communicate effectively with team members, clients, and suppliers.
- Undertake special projects as assigned by the events team.
