Job Description
Are you a high-energy individual with a passion for customer service and a clean driving record? DoubleTree by Hilton Bloomington is seeking a dedicated and reliable Valet Parking Attendant to join our fast-paced team. This is an immediate hire opportunity for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and enjoys providing top-notch service. As a Valet Attendant, you will be the first and last impression for our guests, playing a crucial role in ensuring their experience is seamless and positive. We offer comprehensive training, a supportive team atmosphere, and the opportunity for daily cash tips!
Key Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and professionally upon arrival and departure.
- Safely park and retrieve guest vehicles in a timely and efficient manner.
- Assist guests with loading and unloading luggage and other items.
- Maintain a clean and organized valet area and entrance.
- Adhere to all traffic and safety regulations while operating guest vehicles.
- Provide information and directions to guests regarding hotel amenities and local attractions.
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve minor issues with a friendly and helpful attitude.
- Report any vehicle damage or guest concerns promptly to management.
- Work collaboratively with other hotel departments to ensure guest satisfaction.
Required Skills
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (no major violations in the last 3-5 years).
- Ability to operate a variety of vehicle types, including automatics.
- Exceptional customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, run, and lift luggage for extended periods.
- Professional demeanor and appearance.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a valet, hospitality, or customer service role.
- Experience driving manual transmission vehicles.
- Familiarity with the Bloomington, IL area.
