Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and organized Virtual E-learning Support Coordinator to join our growing team. This is a crucial part-time, remote position with term-time options, perfect for individuals looking for flexible work arrangements. You will be instrumental in ensuring a smooth and effective virtual learning environment by providing technical and administrative support to students, instructors, and platform users. Your primary focus will be on resolving issues, guiding users through our e-learning systems, and maintaining documentation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide first-line technical and administrative support for our e-learning platform via email, chat, and phone.
  • Assist students and instructors with platform navigation, assignment submissions, course content access, and technical troubleshooting.
  • Document and track all support interactions and resolutions in our helpdesk system.
  • Collaborate with the technical team to escalate and resolve complex issues.
  • Develop and update user-friendly guides, FAQs, and support documentation.
  • Conduct virtual orientation sessions for new users, as needed.
  • Monitor platform performance and report any recurring issues or potential improvements.
  • Ensure timely and professional communication with all users.

Required Skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in using common office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace).
  • Familiarity with various e-learning platforms (e.g., Canvas, Moodle, Blackboard, Google Classroom) or a quick learner of new technologies.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
  • Customer service orientation and a patient demeanor.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate's degree or equivalent experience in education, IT, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in a helpdesk, customer support, or administrative role, particularly in an educational or virtual setting.
  • Experience creating technical documentation or user guides.
