Job Description
Are you passionate about travel and have a knack for crafting unforgettable itineraries? Expedia Group is seeking a dedicated Virtual Travel Itinerary Planner to join our dynamic team. In this 100% remote role, you will be responsible for designing bespoke travel experiences for our diverse client base. From researching destinations and booking accommodations to arranging activities and providing expert advice, you will be the key to turning our clients’ dream vacations into reality. This role requires exceptional organizational skills, a creative approach to travel planning, and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Consult with clients to understand their travel preferences, budget, and desired experiences.
- Research and recommend destinations, accommodations, transportation, and activities tailored to client needs.
- Develop detailed, customized travel itineraries, including timelines, booking details, and local insights.
- Manage all aspects of travel bookings, including flights, hotels, car rentals, tours, and excursions.
- Provide expert advice on travel requirements, visas, health precautions, and cultural considerations.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of travel trends, popular destinations, and industry best practices.
- Handle client inquiries and provide support before, during, and after their trips.
- Utilize various booking platforms and CRM tools efficiently.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in travel planning or a related customer-facing role.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
