Job Description
Are you ready to start a rewarding career in logistics? Amazon in Harrow is looking for enthusiastic and reliable individuals to join our team as Warehouse Workers for night shifts. This is an entry-level, full-time position, perfect for those eager to learn and grow, as no prior experience is required – we provide full, comprehensive training. You will be instrumental in the smooth operation of our fulfillment center, handling a variety of tasks from receiving goods to preparing orders for dispatch. This role demands a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately receive, sort, and store incoming inventory.
- Pick and pack customer orders with precision and efficiency.
- Load and unload delivery vehicles using proper techniques.
- Operate warehouse equipment safely after receiving training.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to meet daily targets.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and move packages up to 23kg (50 lbs) consistently.
- Capable of standing and walking for extended periods during shifts.
- Reliability and punctuality for scheduled night shifts.
- Basic verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Strong work ethic and a positive, team-oriented attitude.
- Willingness to learn new processes and adapt to a dynamic environment.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- No prior warehouse experience necessary; full training will be provided.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a fast-paced, physical work environment.
- Familiarity with basic inventory concepts.
