Job Description
Join the vibrant team at Canyon Lakes Golf Course as a Wedding Venue Setup Assistant. This is a dynamic, hands-on role perfect for individuals who enjoy physical work and contributing to special occasions. You will be instrumental in transforming our beautiful venue for weddings and other events, ensuring everything is perfectly in place before guests arrive and efficiently dismantled afterward. This position primarily involves weekend shifts, offering flexible hours and a chance to be part of a team that creates cherished memories. Full training will be provided, so no prior experience in event setup is necessary, though a strong work ethic and a desire to learn are essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute event setup according to floor plans and client specifications, including tables, chairs, linens, and decor.
- Assist with the loading and unloading of event equipment and supplies.
- Arrange and reset furniture and equipment as needed during events.
- Efficiently dismantle event setups and prepare the venue for the next event or return to standard operations.
- Ensure all equipment is handled with care and stored properly.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of storage areas and event spaces.
- Collaborate effectively with event coordinators and other team members to ensure smooth event execution.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and carry heavy items (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly.
- Strong physical stamina and ability to stand, walk, and move for extended periods.
- Reliability and punctuality, especially for weekend shifts.
- Excellent attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics.
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and work independently or as part of a team.
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a hospitality or event-related setting.
- Familiarity with various event setup configurations.
