Job Description
We are seeking dedicated and physically fit individuals to join our team as a White Goods Delivery Crew member in Campbellfield. This casual day roster position involves working as part of a two-person team to safely and efficiently deliver and install large white goods to residential and commercial customers. You will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, handling products with care, and adhering to all safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently load, transport, and unload white goods (e.g., refrigerators, washing machines, dryers) as part of a 2-person team.
- Deliver products to customer homes and businesses, ensuring proper placement and basic installation where required (e.g., connecting water hoses).
- Provide exceptional customer service, including clear communication, professionalism, and problem-solving.
- Verify product specifications and ensure accurate delivery documentation is completed.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety policies and procedures, including manual handling techniques.
- Conduct pre-start checks on delivery vehicles and equipment.
- Assist with warehouse duties, including sorting and preparing items for delivery, when required.
Required Skills
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks consistently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused approach.
- Reliability and punctuality for casual day roster shifts.
- Strong team player mentality, capable of working effectively with a partner.
- Valid Australian Driver's License (Car or above) for at least one crew member, clean driving record preferred.
- Right to work in Australia.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in delivery, removals, or a physically demanding role.
- Experience with white goods delivery or basic appliance installation.
- Forklift license (LF) would be advantageous but not essential.
- Knowledge of local Campbellfield and surrounding Melbourne metropolitan areas.
