Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and reliable Window Shutter Labourer to join our growing team in Wollongong. This is an excellent opportunity for ongoing full-time work with weekly pay, contributing to the installation and finishing of premium window shutter systems. Full training will be provided to the right candidate who demonstrates a strong work ethic and willingness to learn. You will be an integral part of our installation crew, ensuring high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist skilled installers with the fitting and installation of window shutters.
- Measure, cut, and prepare materials as required.
- Safely handle and transport window shutter components and tools.
- Maintain a clean and organised work site.
- Follow all safety protocols and company procedures.
- Perform other general labourer duties as assigned.
- Assist with loading and unloading materials from vehicles.
Required Skills
- Physical fitness and ability to lift heavy objects (up to 20kg).
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Eagerness to learn and develop new skills.
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and work as part of a team.
- Basic understanding of safety procedures on a construction site.
- Valid driver's license (preferred, but not essential for initial consideration).
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in a labourer role or construction environment.
- Current White Card (Construction Induction Card).
- Experience with basic hand and power tools.
