Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Windshield Wiper Installation Assistant to join our NAPA Auto Parts team in Victoriaville. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for individuals passionate about automotive care, eager to learn new skills, and committed to providing outstanding service. You will work alongside experienced technicians, assisting with the installation of windshield wipers, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. Full training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist customers with the selection and purchase of appropriate windshield wipers.
- Perform efficient and accurate installation of windshield wipers on various vehicle makes and models.
- Conduct basic visual inspections of wiper systems and provide recommendations to customers.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized installation bay and retail area.
- Process transactions, handle cash, and operate point-of-sale systems.
- Stock and organize windshield wiper inventory.
- Provide friendly and knowledgeable customer service, answering questions and addressing concerns.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
- Support other store duties as assigned by management.
Required Skills
- Willingness to learn and take direction.
- Basic mechanical aptitude or interest in automotive care.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to quality work.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Valid driver's license (preferred, but not strictly required).
