Job Description
Are you passionate about audio and eager to break into the world of podcast production? iHeartMedia is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Entry-Level Audio Editor / Podcast Producer to join our dynamic team. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals with little to no prior experience to learn the ropes of professional audio editing and podcast production. You’ll work closely with experienced producers to bring compelling audio stories to life, from initial raw recordings to polished, broadcast-ready episodes. Full training will be provided to ensure your success in this role. This is a 100% remote position, allowing you to work from the comfort of your home.
Key Responsibilities
- Learn and apply audio editing techniques using industry-standard software.
- Clean and enhance audio recordings, including noise reduction and leveling.
- Assemble various audio segments, music, and sound effects into cohesive podcast episodes.
- Assist in the post-production process, ensuring high-quality sound for all content.
- Collaborate with producers and content creators to understand project requirements and vision.
- Organize and manage audio files and project assets efficiently.
- Review and provide constructive feedback on podcast drafts.
- Contribute to brainstorming sessions for new podcast ideas and segments.
- Adhere to project deadlines and maintain consistent quality standards.
