Job Description
We are seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused individuals to join our team as Stadium Ushers on the Gold Coast. This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone who loves live events, sports, and entertainment! As an Usher, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring a safe, enjoyable, and unforgettable experience for all our guests. Best of all, you’ll get to be part of the action, watching events unfold while you work. No prior experience is necessary; we provide comprehensive training to all successful candidates.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and direct guests to their seating locations.
- Provide information about venue facilities, events, and services.
- Monitor assigned sections for guest safety and compliance with venue policies.
- Assist guests with any inquiries or issues, providing excellent customer service.
- Help maintain a clean and safe environment within the venue.
- Respond to emergencies and assist with evacuation procedures if necessary.
- Scan tickets and verify entry.
Required Skills
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- Friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Strong commitment to customer service.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Reliable and punctual.
- Must be able to obtain a valid Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate or willing to obtain one.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in customer service or hospitality is a plus.
- First Aid certification is desirable.
- A passion for live sports and entertainment.
