Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and reliable Afternoon Dishwasher to join our kitchen team on a casual basis. This role is crucial for maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene standards of our busy kitchen during our peak afternoon and evening service hours. If you are a motivated individual with a strong work ethic, keen attention to detail, and are looking for flexible work, we encourage you to apply. No prior experience is necessary as full training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate commercial dishwashing equipment efficiently and safely.
- Wash and sterilize all crockery, cutlery, pots, pans, and cooking utensils.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dishwashing area, kitchen, and storage areas.
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks as needed, under the guidance of kitchen staff.
- Dispose of waste and recycling appropriately.
- Follow all health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
- Monitor dishwashing supplies and report needs to management.
Required Skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to cleanliness and hygiene.

- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights.
