Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Commercial Window Cleaner for ground-level work to join our facilities services team in Durham, NC. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy outdoor physical work, appreciate early finishes, and take pride in a job well done. No prior window cleaning experience is required; we provide comprehensive training to ensure you master our techniques and safety protocols. You will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and shine of commercial building windows, enhancing the professional image of our clients’ properties.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform ground-level window cleaning using squeegees, brushes, and cleaning solutions.
- Ensure all windows are spotless, streak-free, and thoroughly dried.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures, including proper use of ladders (up to ground level equivalent), equipment, and chemicals.
- Maintain all cleaning equipment in good working condition.
- Manage time effectively to complete assigned routes efficiently and meet daily targets.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding job progress or issues.
- Represent CBRE Group professionally on client sites.
Required Skills
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Strong physical stamina and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
- Basic understanding of safety practices.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to job sites (daily travel within Durham area).
Preferred Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Previous experience in a physical labor role (e.g., landscaping, construction).
- Familiarity with commercial cleaning products and equipment (training provided).
