Job Description

Are you a problem-solver with a passion for helping others? OzTech Remote Support is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Helpdesk Assistant to join our 100% remote team. This is a chat-based role, meaning all your interactions with customers will be through text, providing support and solutions for common IT issues. No prior helpdesk experience is required, as we provide comprehensive training and all necessary IT equipment to set you up for success. Key Responsibilities

  • Provide friendly and efficient technical assistance to users via chat, addressing a variety of IT-related inquiries and issues.
  • Troubleshoot common software, hardware, and network problems, guiding users through step-by-step solutions.
  • Document all support interactions and resolutions accurately in our ticketing system.
  • Escalate complex or unresolved issues to senior support technicians when necessary.
  • Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction through professional and empathetic communication.
  • Stay updated on product knowledge and support procedures through continuous training.

Required Skills

  • Excellent written communication skills with a clear and concise style.
  • Basic computer literacy and comfort navigating various software applications.
