This unique role provides full, comprehensive training – absolutely no prior experience in care is required. We are looking for compassionate, patient, and reliable individuals who are eager to learn and dedicate themselves to supporting others. As a Live-in Carer, you will reside with your client, providing continuous support and companionship, enabling them to live independently and comfortably in their own home. This role comes with the added benefit of accommodation provided within the client’s home, making it an ideal opportunity for those seeking a stable and impactful career path without the burden of rent.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide person-centred care, assisting clients with daily living activities such as personal care (showering, dressing), meal preparation, and medication reminders.
- Offer companionship and emotional support, engaging clients in their hobbies and interests.
- Manage household tasks, including light cleaning, laundry, and grocery shopping.
- Assist with mobility and transfers, using equipment as required (full training provided).
- Maintain a safe and comfortable living environment for the client.
- Communicate regularly with the client's family and Care UK's support team.
- Monitor and report any changes in the client's health or well-being.
- Accompany clients to appointments or social outings.
