Job Description

ATG Entertainment is offering an exciting Ticketing & Box Office Management Internship at one of our prestigious venues in Manchester. This entry-level role is perfect for an enthusiastic individual eager to learn the intricate operations behind successful theatre productions and concerts. You will gain hands-on experience across all aspects of box office management, customer service, and ticketing systems, working closely with our experienced team.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with daily box office operations, including ticket sales, exchanges, and refunds.
- Provide exceptional customer service, answering queries in person, by phone, and via email.
- Learn and utilise our advanced ticketing software (e.g., AudienceView, Tessitura) for various events.
- Support the Box Office Manager with administrative tasks, reporting, and database management.
- Contribute to ensuring a smooth and positive experience for all patrons attending events.
- Help manage ticket allocations and VIP bookings for specific performances.
- Assist with group bookings and corporate client relations.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to operational improvements.
Required Skills
- A keen interest in the live entertainment industry.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational abilities.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications (Microsoft Office Suite).
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment.

Preferred Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a relevant program (e.g., Arts Management, Hospitality, Business, Marketing).
- Previous experience in customer service, retail, or a similar public-facing role.
- Familiarity with theatre or event ticketing processes.
